How do I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment in several ways:

  • By phone: Call 020-6414543. If we are unable to answer, please leave your name and phone number on the answering machine. We will call you back as soon as possible.
  • Via the website: Go to the page Sign up. You will then be called as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
  • By e-mail: Send a message to fysiotherapie@mcrandwijck.nl.
  • Via WhatsApp: Send an app to 06 55 53 37 05.
  • In practice: You are of course also welcome to drop by in person to make an appointment.

What can I expect?

A treatment generally lasts 30 minutes. At the first appointment, we will carry out an intake. During this intake, we will conduct an interview, carry out an examination and draw up a treatment plan. After the intake, it should become clear where the complaints come from and how we can work together to make your complaint disappear as quickly as possible. The following appointment the actual treatment starts.

What do I take with me to the physiotherapist?

Bring the following to your (first) appointment:

  • A referral from your GP or specialist (if you have one)
  • Your health insurance card
  • A valid identity document
  • A towel

Will my health insurer reimburse for physiotherapy, manual therapy or pelvic physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy Medisch Centrum Randwijck has a contract with almost all health insurers. The health insurer will reimburse the treatment if you have supplementary insurance with reimbursement for physiotherapy. The number of treatments depends on your package/policy. Usually this concerns a number of treatments or a certain amount per year, which differs per insurance policy.

If you have already had physiotherapy this year (elsewhere), please mention this during the first appointment. Physiotherapy Medisch Centrum Randwijck tries to keep track of how much reimbursement you have and tries to warn you when your budget has run out, but the final responsibility lies with you.

If you do not have supplementary insurance, the costs will be at your own expense.

Can I change my appointment?

Yes, provided you give notice at least 24 hours before your appointment, it can be rescheduled free of charge. If the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours, the patient will be charged.

I have a chronic indication. What about my reimbursements?

If you have a chronic indication according to Borst's list, physiotherapy falls under the basic package. However, the first 20 treatments must come from the supplementary package. If you do not have supplementary insurance or do not have 20 treatments in the supplementary package, the first 20 treatments (or part thereof) will be at your own expense.

From the 21st treatment, physiotherapy falls within the basic package, however, you have to pay the compulsory excess. After that, you have physiotherapy for the prescribed period.

Can I be treated at home?

Treatment at home can only take place on referral from your GP and/or specialist. Is it necessary for us to treat you at home? Ask your GP to mention this on the referral.

I have difficulty walking or am disabled. Can I reach the practice easily?

Physiotherapy Medical Centre Randwijck is located on the first floor of the Medical Centre, which can be reached by lift. In addition, we have a disabled toilet.
