Physiotherapy Medical Centre Randwijck has a contract with almost all health insurers. These days, physiotherapy is only reimbursed if you have supplementary insurance. Your policy states the maximum number of treatments you are entitled to per calendar year.

Since 2006, physiotherapy has been directly accessible. This means that you do not need a referral letter from your GP to be treated with us. A referral is still needed for certain (chronic) conditions, but also if you need treatment at home.

There is a chronic indication for physiotherapy when the complaint you report to us with appears on the list of chronic indications of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. In case of a chronic indication, a referral letter from the general practitioner or the treating specialist is required. The treatments are reimbursed from the basic insurance, except for the first 20 times. These are reimbursed from the supplementary insurance. If you do not have supplementary insurance, these first 20 treatments are at your own expense.
