Ilse Brouwers

In 1998, I graduated from the International Academy of Physiotherapy Thim van der Laan in Utrecht. After gaining experience as a substitute at various practices, I started practising the beautiful profession of physiotherapy at the practice "DeWinter and Van Ettekoven" in 1999. Simultaneously with the establishment of our practice in Medisch Centrum Randwijck in 2012, I joined the Physiotherapy MC Randwijck partnership.

Passionate about my work as a physiotherapist, I started my advanced training in Manual Therapy at the SOMT in Amersfoort in 2000 and successfully completed it in 2004. My drive to constantly learn and grow as a professional can be seen in the title of Master in Manual Therapy I obtained in 2010. This scientific deepening enables me to treat patients according to the principles of "evidence-based practice".

Besides my physio- and manual therapy work, I specialise in Hand Therapy (2021) and have studied shoulder problems. Given my specific expertise regarding the functioning of the musculoskeletal system and scientific level of training, you can expect an accurate analysis and a targeted plan of action from me. In this, you as a person with your own wishes and expectations are central. Together, we work towards a solution!

One of my strengths is getting on well with people. I am sociable, empathetic and patient and understand that each individual is unique and has their own specific needs. With good listening and communication, I strive to make my patients feel at ease and build a good trusting relationship.

As a physiotherapist, I have many years of experience treating patients with a wide range of complaints. It is a privilege to help others and gives great satisfaction to see the positive changes my treatments bring about.
