Manual therapist
As a manual therapist, you get people moving, both literally and figuratively. You listen, examine and understand exactly what someone needs to function the way he or she wants to. With your knowledge and skill, you not only help relieve symptoms, but also give patients confidence in their own bodies and grip on their recovery, so they feel stronger, more independent and resilient.
Whether you are an experienced manual therapist, still in training, or a general physiotherapist eager to grow further within manual therapy: with us, you will have every opportunity to develop within a committed and multidisciplinary team.
Your duties
You will help patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and more complex complaints. You work from clinical reasoning and deliver tailor-made solutions. You interact easily with fellow physiotherapists, general practitioners and other disciplines within the centre. You will also actively contribute to our treatment policy and the further development of the practice.
Are you still in training or working as a general physiotherapist with an interest in manual therapy? No worries, we will guide you step by step in building your manual skills, tailored to your experience and ambition. So you can expand your knowledge with confidence and enjoyment.
Your new workplace
You will work in Medisch Centrum Randwijck in Amstelveen, a place where GPs, psychologists, POHs and pharmacists cooperate intensively on a daily basis. The atmosphere is open, the lines are short and mutual involvement is high.
Within this multidisciplinary environment, Physiotherapy Randwijck forms an expert and close-knit team of four physiotherapists specialising in manual therapy, psychosomatic physiotherapy and dizziness, among others.
Working closely with the six GP practices and other disciplines, you will be able to switch quickly, share knowledge and build the best possible primary care together. In this context, you will not only provide high-quality patient care, but also actively contribute to the development of the profession and the quality of care throughout the centre.
